We’re excited to have been featured in Sign Link ‘s January 2022 Edition. Our Marketing Manager Kirsty talks Point of Sale and why its essential you have an offering for your customers. For the full interview see below:
- Introduce Very Displays and the services you offer
Very Displays service the display and printing industry with fantastic products at competitive prices and offer a personal service from our well-trained team for all our trade customers. We design and supply indoor and outdoor display solutions, concentrating on four main categories: Exhibition & Events, Retail & POS, Textile solutions and Outdoor options.
- What POS solutions do you offer?
We recognise that our trade display solutions are frequently used for point of sale and have purposely introduced many retail display solutions like LED SEG display signs, freestanding frames and hanging wire kits, as we see this sector as a large growth area. Here at Very Displays we believe we have some key point of sale display products for all trade budgets, that will be sure to tick the boxes and fulfil multiple requirements for your customers. We do offer a specialist retail and signage category; however our vast range of portable display products all aid in point-of-sale communications. Our products showcase large format graphics and are predominantly used for brand awareness and consumer engagement.
- What opportunities are there for sign-makers looking to enter this market?
Point of sale is an area not to be overlooked and offers multiple benefits to make it a must for any sign makers to invest in, so they can support their end user with top of the line displays:
- It’s an incredibly cost-effective marketing tool to capture attention and increase brand awareness.
- Easy tool to communicate with customers on new products, discounts, or important store information.
- Aids in a cohesive branded shopping experience.
- Key branded marketing tools for high street, retail and shopping areas.
We always recommend any of our trade customers to take a moment to understand the different point of sale display products available and lean on the expert team at Very Displays for any queries. Understand our offering and it will enable you to say yes to more of your customers.
- What are some trends you’ve seen in the POS sector?
Look around the high street and you can’t miss point of sale signage, encouraging consumers into stores, as well as upselling at point of purchase. We’re seeing more and more soft signage solutions are being used in POS environments and it’s been an ever-growing trend for the past 10 years. It has become an increasingly popular modern alternative that our trade customers are investing in.
- Are there any environmental considerations you need to take if looking to produce POS? If so, what?
Most of our point-of-sale hardware can be used time and time again making it an eco-friendly display option for repeat use. A good example of this from our range is the Freestanding Magnetic frames. The hardware is robust and stable meaning our trade customers only need to provide hardware and graphics to their customers on the first order, with the second order only needing graphic replacements for when new marketing promotions go live. As a company we’re focusing on our supply and sourcing to try and further improve our eco-friendly product offering. You will also now find a reusable symbol accompanying our products to make it easier to see which skus can be easily reskimmed and hardware reused.
- Anything else to add?
2022 brings an exciting new year for Very Displays with the launch of our new price list, as well as four new unbranded marketing brochures available from March 2022 to aid our trade customer to secure further business, which includes a dedicated retail and point of sales catalogue. We are equipped better than ever to service the print and display trade as demand increases and new innovative solutions are required.
